Hello readers
I have come across the name Theodoros Haniotis on a tile-making patent lodged in Sydney in 1910.
The patent number and date where imprinted on the back of a tile that I was given from a recent excavation site near Breakfast Creek, Brisbane (Cooksley Street).
Could anyone help me with my research on this tile and how the Haniotis family was connected to tile-making? It seems one of the family was an importer and this may also be a link.
The Australian patent application also mentions that Theodoros Haniotis was a Sydney fishmonger. I have included an image of the front page of the patent specification.
Many thanks in advance. Megan Manwaring
