The view from the Research Librarians desk. Until recently, the Archive was known as ScreenSound Australia. The Archive is part of the Australian Film Commission. It is Australia's audiovisual archive, collecting, preserving and sharing the nations moving image and recorded sound heritage. For the Kytherian community - which has always been very heavily involved in the Radio & Cinema industry in Australia, at various levels, it is a very valuable resource.
