Emmanuel Haros was also one great teacher at Hora's public school. During the war, the schools in Hora were used by the Italian forces as their stations. Both Public and High school continued to function in Hora, in different venues. Two churches (Agia Anna and Sotiras) were used as public Schools and Emmanuel Haros was teaching during that period. High school was transferred to the bulding where "Ethiniki Trapeza" is today.
